Deposits and balances, paid to you directly.

Each workspace connects its own Stripe account. Clients pay invoices by card from a secure link, and Yachtbase marks the invoice as paid when Stripe confirms it.

§02What flows

In and out, always linked.

→From Stripe into Yachtbase

  • Card payments made on your invoice pages
  • Payment confirmations from Stripe
  • Refund and dispute events

←From Yachtbase back out

  • Invoices and instalment schedules with a Pay now button
  • Payment status on the invoice and in the ledger
  • A reconciliation of each payment against its invoice

§03Why it matters

Three things that change.

01

Your account, your money

Charges are direct charges on your own connected Stripe account.

02

Milestones that follow through

Deposit and balance instalments show as due, issued, paid or overdue, and update when a payment arrives.

03

Reconciled for you

Payments are matched against invoices, including refunds and disputes, and uniqueness checks prevent double allocation.

§04Connect

Three steps to connect.

  1. Step 1

Start Stripe onboarding from your payment settings.

  2. Step 2

Accept the payment policy and complete Stripe's checks.

  3. Step 3

Send an invoice. Your client pays on the secure page.

Available now. Uses your own Stripe account, connected from inside Yachtbase.

§06Questions

Asked and answered.

Does Yachtbase hold our client payments?

No. Payments are direct charges to your own Stripe account.

Can clients pay by bank transfer?

You can record bank transfers and cash manually and allocate them across invoices. The online Pay now button uses cards through Stripe.

Is this the same as the Yachtbase subscription?

No. Your own Stripe account collects from your clients. Subscription billing for Yachtbase itself is separate.

What about refunds and disputes?

They are reconciled against the invoice they relate to.
