§01Fleet and yacht record

Enter the yacht once. Use it everywhere.

One master record holds the specification, photographs, documents and season prices. Brochures, media kits, quotes, bookings and listings all draw on it, so a change is made once and appears everywhere.

§02Five versions

Which spec sheet is the right one?

Today

  • The same yacht is described differently in a brochure, a portal listing and a quote.
  • Photographs sit in cloud folders with no record of rights or who may see them.
  • A refit is updated in one place and forgotten in four others.
  • Nobody can say whether a yacht is ready to be marketed.

With Yachtbase

  • One record, structured to be compatible with the NAUTIX and OpenMarine standards.
  • Media has privacy, rights status and classification, and documents sit in protected storage.
  • Update the record and every brochure, listing and quote draws on the new facts.
  • A readiness score shows what is missing before a yacht goes to market.

§03Why it matters

Three things that change.

01

Depth that satisfies buyers

Identity, dimensions, hull, accommodation, engines, rig, tanks and ten equipment groups, with each engine in detail.

02

Reused, never retyped

The same record feeds PDF brochures, protected media kits, season-priced quotes, bookings and marketplace feeds.

03

Media you can control

Every file is private, owner-visible or public, with a rights status and security checks on upload.

§04How it fits your day

Three steps, no manual.

  1. Step 1

    Create or import

Start from scratch or import a yacht, then complete the specification at your own pace.

  2. Step 2

    Check it is ready

The readiness score and listing validator show what is missing before publication.

  3. Step 3

    Share it properly

Produce a brochure, a protected media kit or a listing, all from the same facts.

§05Capabilities

What it does for you.

  • Specification in depth

Location, dimensions, hull, cabins and berths, engines, rig, tanks and ten equipment groups from navigation to safety.

  • Albums and media

Ordered albums with a cover image, drag-and-drop reordering, and uploads by file or from a URL.

  • Brochures in PDF

Sale or charter brochures from templates, in portrait or landscape, with a choice to show the price or state price on application.

  • Protected media kits

Curated photos and documents shared with an access code, optional password and expiry. You see views and downloads.

  • Season prices

Set charter pricing by season on the yacht, and it carries through to bookings and quotes.

  • Readiness and export

A readiness score, publish and unpublish controls, availability and stats, and export when you need the data elsewhere.

§08Questions

Asked and answered.

Can we import yachts we already have on file?

Yes. Yachtbase supports importing a yacht, and NAUTIX XML files can be imported with validation and conflict resolution. Tell us what you hold at the application stage and we will say how it comes across.

Who can see the documents and photographs?

You control it per file: private, owner-visible or public. Documents such as registration, insurance and surveys are served from private storage using signed links.

Can we hide the price on a brochure?

Yes. A brochure can show the price or state price on application.

How are uploaded files protected?

Files go through security checks on upload, and anything that fails processing is quarantined rather than served.

Can we take our data out?

Yes. Yachts can be exported, and exports are available in CSV, Excel and JSON, alongside a versioned REST API.
