§01Contracts and e-signatures

Every signer, in the right order.

Generate a charter or sales contract from the booking, client and yacht already on file, then send it for signature. Signers can sign on a phone, in the order you set, and you keep an evidence trail for each one.

§02The paper chase

Printed, signed, scanned, lost.

Today

  • Contracts are assembled by hand in a word processor, with details copied from three places.
  • Signing happens by email attachment and good faith.
  • With an owner, a client and a broker, nobody knows whose turn it is.
  • A year later, proving who signed what is a search through inboxes.

With Yachtbase

  • Contracts are rendered from live booking, client and yacht data into a clean PDF.
  • Each signer receives a secure link and signs on the page, including on a phone.
  • You set the order. The next signer is asked only when the previous one has signed.
  • A signed PDF and an event trail with checksums stay on file.

§03Why it matters

Three things that change.

01

Several signers, in order

Charterer, owner, broker or anyone else, signing in the sequence you choose, with reminders and resends if someone is slow.

02

Templates that stay yours

Keep versioned templates for charter contracts, sales contracts and quote terms, preview them, and render a document from real data.

03

Evidence, not just a name

Signers are verified by a secure email link or a code. Signature events and delivery records are kept with checksums for audit.

§04How it fits your day

Three steps, no manual.

  1. Step 1

    Render the contract

Choose a template, and fill it from the booking, client and yacht. Preview it, then generate the PDF.

  2. Step 2

    Send for signature

Add the signers and the order. Each receives a secure link from your own mailbox.

  3. Step 3

    File the result

When everyone has signed, you are notified and the signed PDF is stored with its trail.

§05Capabilities

What it does for you.

  • Versioned templates

Charter contract, sales contract, quote terms and others. Revise a template, then activate the new version.

  • Rendered from your data

Booking, client and yacht details flow into the document, rather than being retyped.

  • Ordered signing

One signer or many, with the order enforced, and a choice of secure link or email code for authentication.

  • A signing page for phones

A public signing page that works on mobile, so a client can sign from the dock.

  • Send, remind, revoke

Resend, chase, revoke or retry delivery, with a completion notice when the last signature lands.

  • Audit trail

Signature events and delivery records with checksums, plus a downloadable signed PDF.

§08Questions

Asked and answered.

How does a client sign?

Each signer receives a secure link by email, can confirm with a code, and signs on phone, tablet or computer. Signers follow the order you set, every step is recorded, and everyone receives the signed PDF.

Can signers sign on a phone?

Yes. The public signing page works on mobile.

Can we use our own contract wording?

Yes. Templates are yours to edit, versioned, previewed and activated. Yachtbase does not supply your legal terms.

What if a signer stalls or changes their mind?

You can send a reminder, resend the request or revoke it. These actions are recorded.

Does the signer need an account?

No. They use the secure link or the email code they receive.
