§01Clients, leads and deals

One person. One history.

A client record that follows someone across email, WhatsApp and Instagram, with the enquiries, charters, offers and viewings that belong to them. Charter and brokerage each get a pipeline that fits how they actually sell.

§02The spreadsheet

Who was that buyer from last autumn?

Today

  • Contacts live in phones, show lists and a spreadsheet that only one person understands.
  • A returning charter guest is treated as a stranger.
  • A lead goes cold because nobody owned the follow-up.
  • Consent and deletion requests are handled by memory.

With Yachtbase

  • Every person has one record with their messages, enquiries, bookings and notes in a timeline.
  • Segments mark VIP, repeat, new and cold clients, so a returning guest is recognised.
  • Leads and tasks have owners, due dates and reminders. Overdue leads escalate.
  • Consent is tracked, and records can be archived or anonymised.

§03Why it matters

Three things that change.

01

Built for yachting contacts

Fifteen contact types, including buyer, seller, owner, broker, shipyard, surveyor, bank and charter client, so a record says who someone is in your world.

02

Pipelines that match the work

Charter leads move from new to qualified to negotiating. Yacht sales deals run through viewing, offer, negotiating and closing.

03

Privacy you can show

Consent is recorded, and a client can be archived or anonymised. Restricted staff see only the clients they are permitted to see.

§04How it fits your day

Three steps, no manual.

  1. Step 1

    Capture

Enquiries arrive from the inbox, forms, marketplaces and manual entry, each tagged with its source.

  2. Step 2

    Qualify

Turn an enquiry into a lead, assign it and set the next task with a due date.

  3. Step 3

    Progress

For sales, convert the lead into a deal and track offers, viewings and the closing checklist.

§05Capabilities

What it does for you.

  • One identity across channels

The same person on email, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook is merged onto one client.

  • Enquiries with a source

Charter, sale, services or general, with eleven sources from website and partner to marketplace and phone.

  • Tasks and reminders

Calls, follow-ups, viewings, payment chasers and check-ins, with recurrence, SLA dates and bulk actions.

  • Offers and viewings

Record offers as proposed, accepted, rejected or withdrawn, schedule viewings, and work through a closing checklist.

  • AI contact import

Upload a boat-show list or a legacy spreadsheet in almost any shape. the assistant drafts clean contacts for you to review before anything is imported.

  • Commercial audit trail

Quotes, contracts, invoices and deals leave a history, so you can see who did what and when.

§08Questions

Asked and answered.

Can we bring our existing contacts?

Yes. The AI contact import accepts Excel, CSV, TSV, text, Markdown or JSON of any shape, and proposes tidy contacts for your review before they are added. Mailchimp audiences can also be imported.

Who sees which clients?

Permissions are granular. Managers can share client visibility across the team, while restricted staff see only the clients they are allowed to see. Search also respects those permissions.

Does it help with GDPR?

It supports it. Consent is tracked as granted, refused or unknown, and records move from active to archived to anonymised. You remain responsible for your own compliance decisions.

Are leads, deals and tasks switched on by default?

They are enabled per workspace. New modules stay off until they are turned on, so your team adopts them at its own pace.

Can we use it in our own language?

The dashboard is available in English, French, German, Croatian, Italian, Spanish and Arabic, including right-to-left layout.
