§01Forms and lead capture

From the stand to the CRM, before the coffee cools.

Branded, multilingual forms for your website, partners and boat shows. Each broker gets a personal link, every answer creates or updates a client and an enquiry, and the thank-you email follows on your schedule.

§02After the show

A pile of business cards and good intentions.

Today

  • Leads are scribbled on cards or typed into notes, then re-keyed a week later.
  • Nobody knows which broker met whom, so credit and follow-up are guesswork.
  • Partners wait for a spreadsheet to find out what their stand produced.
  • The thank-you email goes out when someone remembers.

With Yachtbase

  • Leads are entered on a tablet and are in the CRM as they are submitted.
  • Each broker has a personal link, and submissions are attributed to them.
  • A partner can follow its own leads live through a revocable link.
  • A thank-you email goes out immediately, later, or the next morning.

§03Why it matters

Three things that change.

01

Branded in a minute

Upload a logo and Yachtbase extracts the colour palette, or set your colours by hand. It can also analyse a website for branding.

02

Every lead lands in the CRM

A submission creates or updates a client and an enquiry, mapped to the fields you choose, with consent and campaign source recorded.

03

Right language, right person

Offer a form in several languages, and give each salesperson a personal link so leads are attributed to the broker who met them.

§04How it fits your day

Three steps, no manual.

  1. Step 1

    Choose and brand

Start from a template such as charter request, yacht purchase, valuation or show prospecting, then add your logo.

  2. Step 2

    Share personal links

Each team member opens their own link on a tablet or phone and captures leads in person.

  3. Step 3

    Follow up

Review submissions, add notes, qualify the good ones and let the thank-you email go out as scheduled.

§05Capabilities

What it does for you.

  • Twenty field types

Text, phone, dates, country, file and image upload, signature, consent and more, in single-page or multi-step layouts.

  • Conditional logic

Show a question only when it matters, so a sale enquiry and a charter request ask different things.

  • Multilingual forms

Set a default language and add others, with a translated version of the form for each.

  • Spam and consent

reCAPTCHA v3, throttling and hashed IP addresses, plus consent evidence and campaign or referrer capture.

  • Live results for partners

Share submissions through a secure, revocable link with the columns and expiry you choose. The page updates in real time.

  • Export and version history

Every submission is stored against the exact version of the form the person saw. Export to CSV or Excel when you need to.

§08Questions

Asked and answered.

Do forms need a developer?

No. Forms are built in the dashboard. Public forms are hosted for you on a Yachtbase link, so there is nothing to install on your own website.

What happens to a submission?

It is stored against the form version, and creates or updates a client and an enquiry in the CRM. You can review it in the submissions workspace, add notes and export it.

Can partners see their leads?

Yes. You can share submissions through a secure link, choose the visible columns, set an expiry and revoke it at any time. Leads from a partner form are tagged with the partner's business name.

Can the thank-you email be delayed?

Yes. It can go immediately, after a delay, or the next morning. You can preview it, cancel it and check its delivery status.

Does it work on a phone or tablet?

Forms are designed to be filled in on a phone or tablet, which is the point of a personal link at a boat show.

Can submissions go to Mailchimp?

Yes. Each form can be mapped to its own Mailchimp audience, and answers are exported as notes. This needs your Mailchimp account connected.
