The 2026–2027 boat show calendar for yacht professionals

Twelve shows from Genoa this month to Monaco in September 2027, with dates checked against organiser information, and a short note on which suits which business.

A calendar is only useful if the dates are right. The ones below are taken from organiser and venue information as of 1 October 2026. Shows move, as the Dubai International Boat Show demonstrated this year, so treat every date as the organiser's current intention and check before you book travel.

We have listed shows that matter to brokers, charter operators and yacht managers working across Europe and the Gulf, in date order. It is not exhaustive, and inclusion is not a recommendation. Yachtbase representatives have attended some of these in the past; this list is a planning aid, not a record of where we have been.

Notice the shape of it. Autumn is crowded, with the Gulf and Paris shows overlapping in late November. Winter brings boot Düsseldorf and Miami. Spring is Palma, then Monaco's May salon. The Mediterranean peak, Cannes and Monaco, arrives in September.

What each is for

Autumn 2026

Genoa returns to October after a run of September editions, and it is a strong choice if your business touches Italian yards or the wider Mediterranean market.

Fort Lauderdale is described as the largest in-water boat show in the world, and it is the natural stop for anyone with American clients or Atlantic crossings in mind.

METSTRADE is a trade event for marine equipment and systems at RAI Amsterdam. It is not a showroom for yachts, but it is a good place to meet suppliers and see where technology is heading.

Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Paris fall within a single week at the end of November. The first two are Gulf events at the start of that region's season, and Dubai's shift to November is described by its organiser as permanent. Paris Nautic is a public show at Le Bourget. You will not attend all three, so decide which audience you most want to meet.

Winter 2027

boot Düsseldorf is the large indoor show, billed by its organiser as the world's largest yacht and water sports trade fair, and a January fixture for many European businesses.

Miami is a sprawling event across several waterfront sites, and the main winter option for US buyers.

Spring 2027

Palma is described by its organisers as the opening fair of the Mediterranean boating season, and its Superyacht Village is a gathering point for the larger end of the market.

Top Marques Monaco is a car salon, but it draws an audience that overlaps with yacht clients. Think of it as a networking opportunity in a good setting, not a boat show.

Summer and September 2027

Cannes will be a milestone: the organiser notes that 2027 marks fifty years since the first edition. It is an in-water show split between two harbours.

Monaco follows within a fortnight, concentrated on superyachts and the specialists around them.

How to choose

You cannot attend everything, and you should not try. A few questions sort the list.

  1. Who do you want to meet? Private buyers, charter agents, owners, suppliers or other managers each gather in different places.
  2. What is your season? A charter operator wants to be seen before the booking window; a broker wants the buyers who are ready to move.
  3. What can you follow up? A show is only as valuable as the follow-up you can afford. Two shows done well beat five done badly.
  4. What does it cost, in full? Include travel, time, staff cover and the opportunity cost of being away.

A simple budget for a show

Whatever shows you pick, work out three numbers in advance.

  • The cost, all in, including time.
  • The number of leads or contacts you aim to meet. Be modest.
  • What a good result looks like six months later: a booking, a listing, a partnership, an introduction.

After the show, compare. This is the most reliable way to decide which events to repeat. It requires that every lead is recorded with its source, a habit that costs nothing and is easy to skip. Whatever system you use, analytics on sources over several months will tell you more than your memory.

Getting ready for each

A short, repeatable routine reduces the effort of each show.

  1. Eight weeks out: decide the purpose, the people you want to meet and the budget.
  2. Four weeks out: book appointments, prepare material, build and test your capture forms.
  3. One week out: brief the team, confirm travel and check opening hours.
  4. During: record daily; keep it short.
  5. Within two days after: send personal replies.
  6. Within a month: review and record what you learned.

Branded forms with a personal link for each team member, which we describe on the forms page, can help with the capture step; so can a notebook and a habit.

Keeping the calendar honest

Dates shift, venues move and editions are rescheduled. Our own list will not stay current by itself, so we recommend three habits.

  • Check the official site before you book.
  • Subscribe to the organiser's newsletter for changes.
  • Review your list each quarter and note anything that has moved.

We will update this calendar when shows change, and we will tell you if one of ours was wrong.
