Contracts and e-signatures, every signer in order
Multi-signer contracts with audit trail and evidence.

No more e-signature back-and-forth
A charter contract needs signatures from the client and the yacht owner. A brokerage deal requires the buyer, the seller, and the broker. You email DocuSign links to three people in the wrong order. One person signs, then the second person thinks the third has already signed, so they skip ahead. Now the signing order is wrong and the document is invalid. You start again.
Yachtbase lets you create contracts from templates, define signers in order, and collect signatures in the right sequence. The first signer gets an email with a secure link. They sign on their phone, tablet or desktop. When they are done, the second signer automatically receives their link. No guesswork. No people signing out of order. The contract stays unsigned until all signers finish.
Each signer gets a link unique to them, not a shared document. They authenticate by email link (no password to forget). They see the contract, sign where prompted, and get a signed PDF straight away. You get an email when everyone has signed. The contract is locked, and every signature is backed by evidence: who signed, when, from what device, and a checksum that proves the PDF was not changed after signing.
What you can do now
- Create from a template: Build a charter contract, sales contract, quote terms, or custom document from a template. Edit the HTML directly if you need to customise it.
- Render from real data: When you create a signature request from a booking or quote, Yachtbase fills in client names, yacht specs, prices and dates automatically. No copy-paste.
- Define signers and order: List the people who need to sign (e.g. charter client, owner, manager). Set the order they must sign in.
- Send and track: Send the signature request. Each signer receives a unique link and an email. Watch the signing progress in real-time.
- Authenticate by email: Signers do not need a DocuSign account. They confirm their identity by clicking a link in their email.
- Download and archive: Once all signers finish, download the signed PDF. Yachtbase keeps the evidence: timestamp, signer IP, device, and signature checksum.
Why it matters
Contracts signed with ambiguous ordering or unsigned by key parties are not enforceable. Disputes over who signed when, or who actually agreed to terms, waste money and time. Email-based signing is slow and error-prone.
Ordered signatures with full evidence create a legal record. You can prove that the client signed first, then the owner, in that order, on those dates. If a dispute arises, you have evidence, not just an email thread.
